The Ultimate Wingman.
When you’re trying to impress that certain someone it’s
important to have a wingman you can count on.
Sometime you need someone to pump you up. Other times they need to, “disperse” the
crowd. Occasionally, you need someone to’
“take one for the team.”
Nothing better describes what Furrut Ringtail does for
Rattagat Bruxt. The two were signed to
the Wanderers at the same time and have been inseparable. Whereever Bruxt turned up there was Ringtail
close at hand. Whatever Bruxt needed
Ringtail got for him. It’s not uncommon to
see the two of them sitting in the rear booth of not so well-respected
establishments in town. They hold court
with drugs, drink and tail surrounding them.
Bruxt was the first of them to show the signs of warpstone
abuse. He has always been the leader and
closely followed by his buddy. Ringtail
began losing his fur at an unnaturally young age. Slowly but surely sores began appearing on
his skin. The ladies started to look on
him with a bit of disgust. But another
thing Furrut has developed over his time with Rattagat is an unwavering
confidence and self-belief. That self-belief
shows itself on the Blood Bowl pitch too.
It doesn’t matter how many opponents are near him, he never gets
rattled. Even when he fails he’s not afraid
to try again.
Ringtail appears to have become a favorite player of coach
Furry over his tenure with the team. “I can count on Ringtail. “He’s such a determined player and he will do
anything for a teammate or the team. All
these guys are very loyal to each other.
If it wasn’t for his appearance I think he’d be a much bigger star. But we don’t care what he looks like. He’s a Wanderer, and we wouldn’t trade him
for all the aces in the deck.”
I can’t think of a more appropriate line then that.
